“Situated in a scenic location with an unbelievable view over the surrounding mountains including mt Yufu. Very steep road up and easy to miss off the main road. Parking lot is good and was never crowded. Room was very spacious with 3 private onsens, though you’d only be using the outside ones purely for the surrounding views and sounds of nature! “Small BnB ran by one (two?) old ladies. Decent value for money at the expensive Yufuin region. Suitable for travellers that drive up. Dinner was fantastic for the price. Grill meat set dinner with decent portion of marbled beef. Rooms are well maintained and reasonably clean... obviously its in the countryside so you can expect some beetles, etc if you don't shut the window fully.”
