Great location - the communal balcony overlooking a busy street intersection in the old centre (Adum) with peoplewatching and traffic concerto a delight. Very helpful duty manager Nicholas arranged early breakfast and sourced beer. A bit haphazard.

Upon arrival, we were informed that our booking could not be accommodated due to a lack of bed sheets. Despite efforts to cover the exposed bed, the situation only worsened, revealing a mattress and pillows that were filthy and heavily stained. Ultimately, they were unable to provide accommodation, which was likely for the best given the unhygienic conditions. We were then left stranded in an unsafe area with all our luggage, trying to find alternative accommodation at 1 AM.

Une fois arrivée à l'hotel, le gérant me dit qu'il a donné ma chambre à quelqu'un d'autre et qu'il n'y en a plus d'autre disponible. Donc comme il est tard il me propose de m'emmener dans un autre hotel et il me facturera le meme prix. Or dans l'autre hotel, situé plus loin, ni petit déjeuner ni wifi. Inacceptable

Property was on the 5th floor (4th floor if ground is zero) with no working elevato. Wifi was sporatic and often not working at all. Smell from bathroom drains. Location is in chaos of downtown during the day and a bit like post-apocapypic after dark with unlit streets. Breakfast offered only between 7:00-8:00. Hotel is locked down at a certain point at night. Walls need fresh paint to remove dirt smears. But, price is inexpensive.

The receptionist was not there or available when I arrived. The Wi-Fi was not working which they fixed for 3 or something then it was not working again. But I liked the mini fridge and the bathroom was very clean big up.

No one was at the desk to check me in, Wi-Fi went out almost immediately after I arrived. The only saving grace was Thomas went and got me a local SIM card so I could communicate and continue working.

Nice on the inside, good air-conditioning. But you need to call ahead to get the elevator and if they don't answer it is 4 flights of stairs to walk up. But it was nice and clean.

L’accueil n’a pas du tout Ă  la hauteur ; le patron a dit au tĂ©lĂ©phone Ă  la personne de l’accueil que je n’avais aucune rĂ©servation et que expĂ©dia avait Ă©crit que ma carte bancaire n’avait pas fonctionnĂ© ; ce n’est que aprĂšs aprĂšs avoir menacĂ© de faire une rĂ©clamation auprĂšs d’hotel.com et l’hĂŽtel avoir exigĂ© le paiement si je voulais une chambre que la rĂ©servation a Ă©tĂ© retrouvĂ©e ; j’ai perdu un quart d’heure pour rien et personne ne s’est excusĂ© ; mais aprĂšs cette pĂ©ripĂ©tie le personnel Ă©tait trĂšs aimable et serviable ; la personne de l’accueil nous a mĂȘme accompagnĂ© pour nous montrer le chemin d’un restaurant La chambre Ă©tait spacieuse avec air conditionnĂ© et ventilateur, TV et frigo ; la SDB Ă©tait spacieuse L’hĂŽtel est trĂšs bien situĂ© Ă  proximitĂ© du grand marchĂ© de Kumasi et pas trĂšs loin du musĂ©e mais c’est un peu bruyant Ă  partir de 6 h 30 mais c’est trĂšs calme la nuit

A Pleasant Surprise

Mikaddo is located at the commercial area of Kumasi City. Easy access to other areas of attractions by foot or taxi or ‘trotro’. The room is clean, and as shown in the pictures with functionable facilities except for the lift which sometimes does not work. Caution if you have mobility problems. Otherwise everything was perfect for the price you pay. And very courteous and helpful staff! Thanks staff! I’ll recommend to family and friends.

The property offers a phenomenal view of the centr of Kumasi in a very modern setting. The concierge Goodlet Owusu or better known as Goody made my stay there flow by guiding me on where to go and how to do things as well actually taking me to the place himself when directions got tricky. His recommendations were excellent and always on point. I don’t think I would’ve experienced Kumasi in such a rich way without his expertise.
