Amazing stay. However the hotel is almost outdated even though is very comfortable. Staff were great except the newer staff which is foreign staff. Hardly understand Bahasa and limited English. Came during weekend and school holiday. Its very crowded but the staff managed patrons professionally. I might return again maybe during non peak with less crowd.

This hotel has been my regular place for myself and my family to relax whenever we make a trip for Genting Highlands. Their services and attitude has always been one of the best experience. They are very willing to accommodate to your needs. But sadly the dining options is very limited and Iโ€™d love to have the cigar lounge back. Although not many will be going but I do think having that as an option will be fantastic. Also I do hope that the wild monkeys are plan to be dealt with as they impose danger to young kids or infant. As they are not friendly and may intrude your rooms to take whatever they want to. But the place is just a perfect place. Iโ€™d love to get back there when Theo presidential suite is ready.

Beautiful hotel with friendly helpful staff, especially Mark who showed us around the hotel at check in. Lovely welcome drink offered at check in also. Gym looked great but only had one night stay and didnโ€™t use it, the pool area was lovely and relaxing. Rooms were clean and bed was huge and super comfortable. Day spa looked nice but didnโ€™t use. The food was a bit average at the restaurant down stairs and think they could add a few cocktails to the drinks list to have round the pool. Other than that enjoyable stay.

An outstanding and unexpected find

We were looking for something in the area, and most places listed were like those in the overly commercialised and hyped Genting Highlands resort. But The Chateau was something in another league - for those who want the scenery and the serentiy that you would hope to find in the mountains, well away from the crowds and casinos. I have only positive things to say about The Chateau. The hotel was finely created and maintained. Every finishing touch was tasteful, and everything worked and delivered as it should, and so did the staff - everyone was polite and helpful. We also felt very safe at all times. All food and drink served here was organic and delicious - from the welcome drink, through afternoon tea, to the buffet breakfast served to your table. At this time of year, there were few other guests, and so we found it a little too quiet for dinner and drinks - so we took a pleasant stroll to the nearby French Village for some light entertainment in the evening, enjoying the starry skies on the way.

Specifically booked the Jacuzzi suite to enjoy the Jacuzzi but the Jacuzzi is not well maintained. Canโ€™t even use the jacuzzi for more than 10 minutes and we had to manually add the water from the toilet due to the water flow is not strong enough because there is leakage in the Jacuzzi. The duty manager did not offer anything for future trip or solution to compensate the bad experience.
