No doubt the location is very convenient if you want to be in the middle of Bukit Bintang. Other than that, the hotel is a very basic accommodation that would be similar to 2-3 stars hotel, definitely not 4 stars.

Clean bed and linen, shower and water pressure, room cleanliness, hotel location made my stay comfortable. What I hope to be improved is electrical inspection. Found 3 non-working wall sockets and 1 faulty table lamp. See photos later.

The hotel is in a great central location, very close to the train station, and lots of shops and eateries nearby. I was able to store my luggage at the hotel before and after check in which was very useful. The cleanliness of the room was ok, it felt a bit run down and not highly maintained, scum lines in toilet, mould in the shower, ac vent covered in dust etc. The staff were lovely but unfortunately not accomodating with the requested bed layout. So had 2 king singles instead of king bed as requested. Was disappointed with the view from my window however in saying that a good view was not explicitly advertised.

Perfect location, surrounded by shops. Bukit Bintang MRT & Monorail, Jln Alor Food St & Pavilion are within short walking distance. Bt Bintang MRT Exit D is on the same side of the hotel. Exit E is on the opposite side.

Spacious room for a family of three with an extra single bed apart from double bed. Only minus is that there is no bathroom door, it’s an open bathroom so if u are sharing with child or family, there is a privacy issue. Otherwise Very good central location in bukit bintang. All shopping close by.

The location of the hotel cannot be any more perfect, it's literally right in the center of the heart beat of KL beside the pavilion mall and metro line. Due to its location its loud and very busy all day and night. However, the hotel is definitely dated and needs work but the location cannot be beat.

If you are looking at doorstep accessibility with your family, shops and can walk conveniently to Pavillion, Fahrenheit, Lot 10 mall, Ansa Hotel KL will be è one 👍👍 at affordable rates & not too small room too. Overall 7/10 from check in till check out.

This is a very central hotel in the Pavillion area and the price is a little higher accordingly. Staff very helpful. Room good although it seems there are Deluxe and ANSA Deluxe rooms. The latter have apparently been renovated. I have one of the slightly cheaper Deluxe rooms. Still nice but I expect it will be in line for an upgrade.

Bad experience

Priced at 5 star but worth a 2 star. Nightly rate was way cheaper at walk in rather than booking in advance from websites. Old hotel without any facilities. Some weird smell everywhere in the hotel. Staff not friendly and the neighbourhood is very noisy.

I had a disappointing experience in Ansa Hotel. I had specifically requested for my 2 rooms to be side by side as I was travelling with my 2 teenage girls. When we arrived, the staff gave us 2 rooms in 2 different levels. Despite explaining our concerns, he flatly rejected our requests claiming it was the agent's fault for acceding to my request and claimed Hotel was full for the day. Only when we refused to accept, then the staff managed to find 2 rooms on the same level. Rooms were not up to good standard too. Regretted my booking. Wont recommend it. There are many hotels that provide good service in this vicinity.

A few areas that are very disappointing 1. Hotel drop off area - you need to take the stairs to the lobby. Which is very silly. Most tourists will have luggages. That’s inconvenient. 2. Dirty areas. The carpets were stained. And the whole building looks shabby. Strange smell also. Smells mouldy. 3. You can’t use Apple Pay. Need the physical card. Which is another inconvenience. 4. Cleaning staff woke us up and asked why we have not checked out. Only to realise they got the wrong room. Frustrating. The saving grace is the location. Which is really near to Pavilion malls etc
