“My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Just getting to the hotel (over a narrow mountain road) was an adventure in itself, but it was well worth it. The fisherman's cabin was cozy and comfortable, with all amenities included. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and there was a lovely little restaurant which served both traditional Norwegian dishes (such as fish and reindeer) but also some very good vegan dishes (which was quite an unexpected surprise). “When Anders greeted us he was lovely and very helpful. We particularly loved the fresh pastries set out for the guests, as well as access to the hot chocolate/coffee/tea machine. And the most exciting amenity was the drying rack (heated cabinet) that really came in handy for our wet shoes. And can’t forget that the water pressure in the shower was wonderful, especially after long drives and hikes.”

“Heat in bathroom, no heat in room…no thermostat. Just one small, oldish pilllow. If you don’t have internet, you cannot scan the code on the door. Tough luck for you because you paid for the room but you can’t get in! Only good thing is the location.”
