“This was a perfect little family friendly site for our family. We stopped as a half way point on our way from NSW to QLD and it had everything we needed. The shops within walking distance, great park facilities and the beach literally on the doorstep. We had an added bonus of a Kangaroo and her joey waiting to say Hello when we arrived. We'd definitely recommend, the only problem was we didn't stay longer.”

“We received a warm welcome upon arrival. The accom itself was outstanding value. Clean, spacious, well-fitted out. As my wife said, it’s rare when you arrive in a place and find it way better than the pictures seemed to indicate. Great spot.”

“This is a traditional motel and was perfect for my stay. Convenient for visiting the Sikh Temples and not too far from the town centre for shops and restaurants. The room had all the facilities needed for a 2 night stay and I was able to park directly outside my front door. Everything a motel should be.”

“Very clean and tidy and would recommend, the problem was, I was unaware that this motel houses workers and they like to hang outside your room while talking and drinking very loudly until very late hours with out a care in the world for other guests that are actually travelling and would like sleep, if you don't like noise don't stay here, or call to check if there are workers staying at the time of your visit”

“Love staying at the place ! Stayed many times ! Rooms closer to lagoon are the best ones to book :). Beautiful resort friendly staff . Downside is the restaurant, food is limited and average in my opinion and needs a revamp of food choices”

“We stayed just 1 night on our way from Gold Coast. It was a typical cabin in a holiday park with everything you need. There are 4 bank beds in one small room, so I don't know how 4 kids could fit there, but it was great for 1 kid. There is a small playground. Ocean beach is with high surf. Swimming in the river is tide dependent. There is a short walk to the head. There are a lot of guests with the dogs, as it is pet-friendly park.”

“Our apartment was large, the furniture is new, the bathroom looked brand new. Everything was comfortable & functional. We appreciated the coffee pod machine & undercover parking. The garden/pool view from our living room & balcony was lovely & we were just a short walk from the beach. We could hear the waves breaking. Great value.”

“Loved that the beach is only a short walk away and our unit overlooked one of the ponds. bed was clean and comfortable. room was of a good size. Apparently the aquarium at the local Marine Research Centre is worth visiting - but it wasn't open during the days we were there (apparently only open most - not all - weekends & some special annual holidays).”
