We stayed at the Amber Boutique Hotel - Amber Design: The hotel is well appointed and breakfast is good. We stayed in a room with 2 twin beds and an extra bed was added to the room. The room was spacious and clean even though the carpet had some stains. Bathroom had a crack on the floor but otherwise good shower. Beds were not very comfortable and the bedding wasn’t very comfortable either. I honestly expected more from a 4 star hotel. What really makes this hotel is the staff - they are 5 stars. Everyone is courteous and friendly. Excellent customer service.

A lovely 4 nights

Friendly and helpful staff. Arrived before check-in time and got our keys immediately. Good sized rooms (one standard and one superior). A short walk away from almost everything in the old city and about 25-minute walk to the Jewish quarter. Coffee shops, restaurants and supermarkets just 1-2 minutes away, 7-10 min walk to main market square. Lots of transportation close by, we used it once just for the experience because we could walk everywhere. Nice and quiet location. Enjoyed good breakfasts. Wi-Fi worked well.

Great birthday stay

I loved this hotel from the moment I walked in. It also happened to be 2 blocks from where my friends live. But this hotel was quiet and everyone at the front desk was helpful for the questions I asked. If you want to be close to Old Town then this is the place to stay. Just walk out of the hotel and around the corner and you are there. Easy to get the train from the airport to the main station and then a lovely walk through the park of Old Town to the hotel (10-15 stroll). I have zero complaints about this hotel and will indeed be staying here on my next visit. Just an outstanding staff and room. Bed was comfy, bathroom was fine, shower got hot quick. I loved everything about this place.

We were really disappointed with this hotel. It markets itself as a boutique hotel, but apart from elements of decor there isn’t much boutique or special about it. Our rooms were dark and small (on the last floor with windows so high I could not see anything outside), everything was OK, but there were nonspecial touches anywhere. Just kind of basic. Breakfast buffet was disappointing too - no proper coffee, small selection of cold and hot food all packed in a crowded room. But nothing great either - no regional or healthy food, no specialties - just few ordinary bites so you don’t go out hungry. Staff was nice,

Excellent hotel in Krakow. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We needed assistance with a tour pick-up location and they assisted us. The property is beautiful, immaculately cleaned and maintained and there are extra toiletries available on the cart by the front desk. Breakfast is atypical European breakfast but good variety and choices. There is a convenience store right across the street for water and snacks. Very walkable to the city centre.
