The staff were great. The hotel was a run down and very old. The bathroom was shocking and not so clean. I booked based on the rating of 8.8 it definitely is not worth that at all. The photos online are very deceiving and the bed was as hard as a rock.

Nice place to stay in Ao Nang. Personally loved the location being a bit further away from the business of Ao Nang but still within walking distance of Ao Nang beach and the Night Market as well as down the road from a 7-Eleven and also some great restaurants nearby! Would definitely recommend if spending 2-3 nights in Ao Nang and don't want to stay a little out of the thick of the action in Ao Nang!

The staff are amazing and friendly. Hotel is in a great condition and rooms are comfortable with big bed and new air conditioning. Cleaned every day. I only booked for 3 days but ended up extending my stay.

The free shuttle to the beach is great, but the location is facing a noisy street. Not too many dinning options, need to explore about 15mins outside the hotel. Paid breakfast was disappointing, very limited option. Paid 108cdn a might, imo its not worth it.

The check in was easy. The room was clean although there was a slightly musty smell our entire stay. There was an issue with the shower not functioning properly our entire stay, the front desk sent someone to fix it and even then there was still very little water and almost no pressure. You can purchase food and drinks from the reception area but the selection is pretty limited. However there are several restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Its a short stroll to the beach and there is a night market near by. They do have a pool, its on the small side so its usually pretty quiet if you're looking to relax. Overall I dont think this property was worth the money and I wouldnt stay here again, nor do I recommended.

The hotel is very nice. Clean and comfortable with a small cafe at reception and a limited menu throughout the day. The staff are very friendly, but always so busy that it can be hard to get help if you need it. Not their fault at all, but they are running reception and the cafe so at times they are just too busy to be as helpful as they’d like to be. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The showers are adequate, but water pressure is low and not always as hot as you may want. The location, however, is a bit disappointing. It is a good 25 minute walk to the beach and closer to 35 minute walk if you want to get to the end of the beach where there are loungers and sun beds you can rent. You can take a Tuk Tuk but they are pricey -$3 to $6 USD each way which adds up quick if you’re on a budget. It is also a bit difficult to get a Tuk Tuk from right outside. You will likely have to walk 5 - 7 minutes to the main road to find one, and the walk is down a narrow road with lots of traffic and no sidewalk — not fun if you have kids in tow. There are plenty of nearby restaurants, but you’ll have to get yourself down to the main road if you want more options or less expensive choices. The pool is pleasant but the photos make it look bigger. It is quite narrow with limited poolside seating that is always in the shade - not very kid friendly as it’s too narrow for playing. With what we spent on Tuktuks we could have stayed somewhere closer to the beach.

The bed is very hard, the bed sheets were dirty and stained, long check-in process, weird architecture of the hotel makes you climb down to the stairs which can be difficult if you have heavy bags. Ao Nang beach is a min 20 min walk, which is fine but it has uphills and downhills on the way. They do have shuttle service to drop you at the Kokotel Ao Nang branch, but that runs only 5 times a day, so not really helpful if your timing doesn’t match

Awful hotel, felt more like a prison then a hotel room, never stayed in such a dive in my life, unfortunately was also ill when staying here for two nights so didn’t even feel like I could change hotel, how on earth it has an 8.8 rating is beyond me. You couldn’t pay me to stay at that place again. don’t believe the pictures that are on Expedia. Also air conditioning didn’t really work and made an awful noise like it was going to fall off the wall. Avoid this place at all cost!

Kokotel offered everything we needed. The staff were very helpful, serviceminded and eager to help in any way. I love that they think sustainable, like provide glassbottles you refill yourself. They also offer freee shuttle to their other hotel and towels to bring to the beach.

Great new clean hotel

Super clean new hotel! Staff are most welcoming and friendly. 1st night lobby had music playing really loud until early in the morning so we had to ask them to turn it off at 2am but reception turned it off immediately. A lot of street noise with motorbikes and cars going past but it's because of the location of the hotel on the road. Second night there was no loud music at night so everything was great and we had a good nights sleep. Close to beach, convenient. Breakfast is good, would stay again. Overall worth the money and happy with our stay.
