We stayed at Caesars Palace for three nights when seeing the Kelly Clarkson concert at the Coliseum. The stay was fine. My slightly lower rating was because I called about an issue with the room and while I was assured it would be addressed, it never was. I chose not to follow up because I didn't want to continue having to worry about it on my vacation. The issue was that the light switches and the lights in the room didn't work which resulted in having to get up and get out of bed and walk over to the hallway to be able to turn out the nightstand lights. Allegedly they put a ticket in and then I never heard another word and it was not fixed. It seems like a small thing but once you get in bed and start to fall asleep you just want to be able to roll over and turn the light out. You don't want to have to get up and walk across the room to turn off the light. For a property like Caesars, I thought it was inexcusable. However, the person at the front desk when we checked in was nice and the property was clean and lovely. The restaurants are just that much too expensive so to make it annoying. We had a good dinner at the Chinese place.We also saw the show Absinthe which was very good. However, that too is high for what it was and the drinks in the Fairy Garden were outrageously expensive. We got two seltzers and it was $38 with tip. When we asked for a glass of ice water, we were told we could buy a can for $9. I probably would only stay there again if seeing a show.
