The staff was incredibly kind - greeted me with a smile and the check in process was smooth as was the check out! The room was nice and clean but there wasnโ€™t any soap whatsoever in my room. Iโ€™m sure if I needed some I could have asked but I was only there for a night and then I left so it didnโ€™t really matter. The bed was also pretty stiff so I had a little trouble falling asleep but if you like a hard mattress youโ€™ll sleep just fine. The hotel is right in front of a river and walking distance to the Kotohira-gu Shrine. I will definitely be booking again for my next trip to Kotohira!

Very Nice Stay

The room was clean and quite big. Itโ€™s convenient to those sightseeing places. Staffs were nice and helpful. Their English was not so good but tried their best to communicate with us. Japanese style breakfast and dinner were yummy. Onsen was good too.
