I am really frustrated because only one plug is useable and I could not use all plugs near to my bed. No dustbin in toilet. No channel is available even though we were able to switch on tv. Breakfast buffet is so good with various food, we really enjoyed it!

Pros: - Walking distance from close by mall and hospital - next to kota bharu convention centre - rooms are spacious and comfortable - bathtub is deep and comfortable - breakfast consist of local kelantan food and adequate varieties Cons: - hotel is old and in need of renewal - hotel ground floor may be a mase for new comers - room is dated with small bathroom - bath shower will cause wetting of floor due to design. - thin walls with no effort need to eavesdrop especially if you have a noisy neighbour.

One of the best hotels in Kota Bharu

I've stayed at this hotel quite a few times over the last year or so on work. It's arguably one of the best hotels in Kota Bharu in terms of overall condition, cleanliness and quality of amenities. However, it is showing its age - the padded wall at the head of the bed is peeling badly, while slow sink drainage and long wait for hot shower water seems to be a problem encountered every other stay (including my latest one). The hidden electrical sockets in the desk are also poorly designed and most UK-socket laptop cords will find it a very tight squeeze. That aside, the food is not bad - the nasi kerabu is actually very good and worth checking out - and service is friendly.

Unpleasant Stay

Hotel was run down. We were first given a room located on the 9th floor, the room was located right next to a bunch of outdoor air conditioning fans that was so loud hence later in the afternoon we requested for another room, we were then moved to the 8th floor. Whilst the room was quieter, the room condition was gross and dirty. The headboard was old and dingy, the pillows and sheets had a damp smell, the bathroom area was mouldy and black in some parts and the hotel was very stingy with their bathroom amenities. The breakfast was not pleasant, looked unhygienic and the quality of food was questionable. Will definitely NOT be returning to this hotel!

Noisy traffic could be heard right through the night. Whilst the room was meant to be a non smoking room, it was very unpleasant to sleep with traces of stale cigarette smell permeating the room through the aircon vents. Glass panel and door to shower cubicle hasn't been cleaned for awhile from appearance when we checked in, with dirty streaks of soap scum marks still on them. Don't get me started on the toilet flush button or the sink tap........! And oh, it'll be helpful to provide a hand towel too. Won't be coming back to stay even though the food at the breakfast bar were pretty good.
