The recent change to open the Flamingo Hotel to the general public has significantly changed the overall guest experience. While I understand the desire to attract more visitors, the increased public access has made the property feel much more crowded than before.
One of the biggest disappointments is the loss of seating. Many chairs and lounge areas that were once available to hotel guests are now reserved as rental seating, making it difficult to find a place to relax without paying an additional fee. As a paying hotel guest, it feels like basic amenities have become premium extras. I also disagree with paying a resort fee at the hotel and then again for drinks at the pool! It seems the resort fee for the hotel only covers the gym and Wi-fi. Which neither were used!
