Budget hotel. Okay for one night stay on your way through Konya. Central location for sightseeing. Forget about parking. Very tricky with your own car. For the price, it's fine. Not too good, not too bad.

My stay in Konya

The staff was undoubtedly very friendly and kind. This hotel is very close to the Mevlana museum and very central to other eating places and shoping stores so very ideal to those who want to visit Mevlana's tomb. This hotel doesn't have a lift and you sholuld carry your luggage to the third floor yourself if you have got a room there. I stayed in this hotel for 4 days and my room was not even cleaned for once during my stay. I used to experience a strong smell of sigarettes in the stairs outside the rooms. It was reported at the reception and they used spray to suppress the smell of cigarettes. The toiletseat was broken from one side and this was reported to them the very first day. They said that the issue would be escalated to the boss but no further action was done in those 4 days. During the use of toilet the seat was moved right and left and unfortunately it was not comfortable to use. There was not even one hook to hang the clothes or towel in the bathroom. The basen to wash the hands was right behind the door of bathroom and one had to reach it by closing the door completely but it was difficult to avoid touching the closet beacuse it was placed in the middle of the bathroon. The shower part had no curtians and the whole floor used to get wet during shower.

If you want a good nights sleep, this is not the place for you. It’s on a busy side street with lots of noise until midnight. After that, staff talking loudly until the early hours of the morning. We were only there one night, our room next to the reception desk.
