I was taken care during all my stay and definitively the level of service and comfort are excellent. It is conveniently located near the airport so it is easy to reach upon arrival in CCU. I had the chance to ask for some support during my stay and the customer service was very prompt and effective.

very good airport hotel

this was our standard Kolkata airport layover hotel when it was Swissotel. Now it will be our standard layover hotel as a Taj. It's spruced up and looking good. Staff didn't seem to be quite as "warm" as the old Swissotel staff, but they did their jobs. IT guy Vikrant was a delight and patient with us old folks. Food was good. Don't like steps up and down into the shower stall, seems like a real fall hazard.

We stayed here in 2020 when it was Swissotel. After the renovation, it is one of the best and most comfortable hotels we stayed in Kolkata. Mostly, staff was incredible. Leaving a personal note (trying very hard) and flowers in the room was something not used to staying at any hotels I stayed. Shower drainage was very slow and the housing service took care of that quickly. Staff workers really tried hard to please guests and as a hotel, they worked together really well. If I have to stay a long term in Kolkata, I would seriously consider this hotel for sure. Mike

The service at the Taj is exemplary. I would recommend this place to everyone, they really go out of their way to make you feel special.
