I stayed here for 4 days and had a great time. It's right in the heart of Chaweng but feels like you're miles away. The pool and gardens are lovely, the room was clean, spacious and in good condition, and the staff were fantastic. Highly recommended and great value for money.

Excellent value for money property. Pool was quiet, lovely gardens and clean, sun-beds need cushions to be more comfortable. Limited facilities in rooms but they were adequate and clean. Staff were lovely and helpful. Cheap restaurant with good food plus a small shop. This is a very economical resort and you pay for what you get so don’t expect a high end resort at a budget price.

Lovely place to stay - near to all amenities but far enough away from the noise to be quiet. very short walk to the beach. Amazing family cooked food on site too........

The location is great. Beach,restaurants, nightlife, travel,info..everything within a few minutes walk. Swimming pool on site. Staff are delightful...so friendly and helpful. Very reasonably priced. We simply couldn't have enjoyed are stay any more. Even the mosquitoes left us alone.

Amazing family run business.

Only stayed a night, but place had warm, friendly & welcoming vibes. Family owned & operated. Yes, the place is dated & could do with some minor TLC. But it’s a room with all the things you need on a trip to a beach island in Samui.

Excellent, comfortable accommodation in a beautiful, tranquil location. Fabulous little bar and snack bar open throughout the day and early evening. Wonderful choice of delicious food at very good prices. The owners and staff are exceptionally friendly, kind and helpful. Unfortunately, I left my phone in the taxi on the way to the ferry. Kayee was so helpful in arranging for a taxi courier to drive it back to the port for us. We cannot thank them enough. Highly recommended.

The staff were polite and friendly. The apartments are in lovely surroundings with exotic plants and nice swimming pool. The apartment was ok but the small wardrobe was useless for more than 1 person..quite a few mosquitoes around but that is un-avoidable ..All in all we will probably return next year

A lovely stay

We stayed for 4 nights initially but on the second day enjoyed it so much we extended our stay another night. The staff were incredible both in the ease of extending our stay, and the fantastic amenities they provided including booking us a taxi and laundry. They had a lovely restaurant attached which we had breakfast at almost daily and the shop was great for stocking up on water, beer and snacks. The location of Rattana is perfect, so close to the beach and restaurants on the Main Street without being loud. The star for us (aside from the staff) was the gorgeous pool that we enjoyed every day. Would love to stay again!

The beautiful woman who checked us in and out went above and beyond! I booked the wrong night and she allowed me to change with no charge, spoke great english, booked fight tickets for us, airport ride etc. All with a big smile on her face. I think I'm in love haha

Good location, not the cleanest

Overall fine for 1 night stay and location is great and nice if you want to chill by the pool. AC worked well. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. There’s so much to do in the area and a close walk to the beach. The location is also pretty quiet. Cons: Hotel room had clear signs of termite droppings that were not cleaned up when we got to the room. Big cockroach in bathroom but it’s Thailand so expect bugs anywhere you stay. Beds not super comfy (hard and springy) and paper thin sheets

J’aime bien l’emplacent. Un bon guesthouse, pas chèr. Le personel est thai et très sympathique. Vous pouvez faire laver votre linge sur place et il y a un petit shop. La nourriture est bonne aussi. :)

Amazing stay in a lovely quiet family run hotel away from the noise of Chaweng. We were upgraded to a premium room by the owner which was such a lovely gesture and showed how well the family look after their guests. We loved breakfast and got it at the hotel most mornings for a great price. Pool was lovely and warm and was a highlight l.
