Bra för oss som dyker

Vi bodde här 5 nätter då vi med dykcenter dök flera dagar i rad. Super gullig personal som hjälp oss med allt. Vi fick tillomed hjälp när vi skulle åka till nästa ställe och så söt som hon var ägaren berättade hon för oss vad saker med resor m.m skulle kosta så ingen lurade oss framöver.

2 Star Motel at Best / Photos Deceiving

First off I want to say that on many other trips this hotel / room would have been sufficient but on this trip and at this price I didn't find these rooms acceptable. From the photos of the property we feel that the photographer did a great job but it does not represent it well. To be fair if you are in the area to dive and just need a place to crash this will do but this is at best a 2 motel and out does look like there are other options. The owners on the other hand I would like to say were so nice and pleasant. We had no complaints about them or their service. Just that this property was not what we were looking for at this point in our trip.

Enkelt, rent, trevligt värdpar

Enkelt mindre o tyst hotell i slutet av gatan. Vi bodde bara en natt innan vi åkte vidare. Billigt o enkelt, värdparet var väldiga, trevliga o tillmötesgående. De bokade vår transport till båten, bilen kom inte i tid o de ringde flera gånger för att försäkra att vi inte skulle missa båten. Allt gick bra o vi var flera som kom sent till båten pga sena transporter, bokar man ihop med Tiger Line så lämnar inte båten även om bilen är sen. Inget hotell att bo länge på men helt ok för en eller ett par nätter om man nöjer sig med det enkla. Vi bokade utan frukost, så vet inget om maten.

Sehr hilfsbereit

Kleines Hotel das von Vater und Sohn geführt wird. Im allgemeinen sauber und ordentlich. Sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Kann man weiteremphehlen wenn man nicht zu hohe ansprüche hat. Ps. Und ruhig ist es.

Fantastisk sted til en rimelig pris.

Vi har bodd på flere steder på KO Lanta, og nyter feriene der. Forsøkte nå en rimelig variant av hotell, og ble meget positivt overrasket. Hotellet ligger i et rolig strøk, og har en fantastisk betjening, i far og sønn. Vi bodde der i 12 dager og stortrivdes. Bestill rom med sjøutsikt.

Efter första natten bytte vi till ett rum med ac och fick då även havsutsikt och solnedgång på köpet. Otroligt härligt att sitta på balkongen och se ut över horisonten! Personalen var väldigt goa, trevliga och hjälpsamma. Åker ni till Koh Lanta så tycker jag absolut att ni ska kolla in detta hotell. Tror att det är ett utav de hotellen som ligger bäst till.

Palvelu oli aivan loistavaa. Esimerkiksi hotellin kautta ostettuna kuljetus lentokentältä hotellille maksoi 300 bahtia. Muutenkin lauttakippuja yms tuntui saavan hotellin kautta halvemmalla. Skootterin vuokra oli 200 bahtia/päivä kuten muuallakin. Myös vinkit sukelluskohteista ja rannoista osuivat nappiin.

The room was clean and comfortable. Front desk service was fantastic. Great area. The building is a bit older and the photos are not 100% representative of the rooms, therefore may be slightly overpriced.

Lovely staff and Fine Room!

I wanted a simple room for exploring another area of Krabi and this was perfect. I elected to have a room with a fan, because I prefer natural air even on the warmer side, but they do offer both! This property is clearly well cared for. The staff went above and beyond to help me. I arrived hobbled by an injury from earlier in my trip and they were so gracious to me! I highly recommend Aloha Lanta and it’s kind and thorough staff!

Sauberes Hotel mit tollem Personal

Hotel ist sehr einfach aber praktisch eingerichtet. Absolut entsprechend dem Preis. Das ganze Hotel ist sehr sauber, der Boden im Lobby wird ständig abgewischt. Personal ist höchstens bemüht und kompetent, auf einem 4* Niveau. Thema Strand - Hotel liegt tatsächlich 300m von einem Strand, man muss nur durch den Garten gehen. Auf Grund den großen Unterschieden zwischen Ebbe&Flow ist der Strand manchmal groß, manchmal klein. Es ist sicher kein besonders hübscher Strand, aber bei low Tide kann man sehr weit durch mehr spazieren und das fanden wir voll spannend. Im Vergleich mit 5 anderen Unterkünften, die wir während unseres Urlaubes in Thailand hatten, fanden wir diesen am saubersten. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Einziges Minus waren die Tücher, wir haben nur einen Badetuch pro Person bekommen, keine kleinere für Hände, wir haben aber auch nicht nachgefragt, ob die Möglichkeit besteht.

Huippupalvelua ja mukavaa majoitusta sopuhintaan

Olimme neljä yötä Aloha Lantassa. Sijainti lähellä kylän keskustaa rauhallisessa kulmauksessa rannalla oli hyvä, vaikka parhaat uimarannat olivatkin vähän kauempana - niihin pääsi kulkemaan skootterilla. Rantapyyhkeet saa mukaan Alohasta. Myös Lantan keskustaan Saladaniin sekä satamaan oli lyhyt, vain muutaman minuutin kävelymatka. Huoneet olivat perussiistit ja siivottiin päivittäin. Aamupalaa ei Alohasta saa, mutta viereisestä ravintolasta vain 100 metrin päästä sai. Parasta paikassa on ystävällinen ja todella palveluhenkinen henkilökunta, jolta sai vinkkejä ja apua monessa asiassa. Yksi seurueestamme satutti jalkansa myöhään illalla vastaanoton ollessa jo kiinni, jolloin isäntäväki haki jäitä ensiavuksi sekä käytti autollaan lääkäriasemalla, jossa olivat myös mukana tulkkaamassa ja odottivat tutkimusten ajan sekä toivat takaisin hotellille. He myös puhuivat hyvää englantia (ei mikään itsestäänselvyys monessa paikassa). Majoitusliike ei ollut mikään viiden tähden resortti, mutta ei sellaista kyllä luvannutkaan. Mielestämme esittelystä ja kuvista saa paikasta varsin todenmukaisen käsityksen.

Good hotel, great staff

Our first impression of Saladan Ko Lanta was that it was a lot more touristy than we expected, but we adjusted pretty quickly. The Aloha Lanta is a short (5-10 minutes depending on our motivation) walk to the ferry dock. We mistakenly did not include air conditioning when we booked but, after the first night, adjusted pretty well with a room fan. There is a beach of sorts 30 meters from the hotel, but there is a huge sand bar that limits swimming to high tide or the channel where power boats go in and out of the docks. Getting to and from the hotel took us past dozens of seafood restaurants and the main road (#4245, never found a name for it) has more restaurants and street cafes, our preferred places to find real Thai food (rather than DDTT, dumb-downed tourist Thai meals). There is the Lanta Mart for food and drinks (large Chang beer for 57 Baht compared to 100-130 Baht in a restaurant), lots of dive shops, a 7-11, Lanta Massage (10% off with card from hotel). The best thing about the hotel was Peter, the host who opened the hotel at 7-7:30 a.m. and closed it at 9 p.m. He was friendly, willing to talk with us (and interested in us), quickly worked to fix a noisy fan, and just an all around great person. When I came down with a 36-hour gastroenteritis illness, he helped my wife cancel our kayaking tour and get a half-day tour for her, provided me with a case of water, and offered to get me electrolyte powder from pharmacy. Can't say enough good things about him.

Fantastisk udsigt, rigtigt sødt personale behjælpelig på alle tænkelige måde, tæt på færge, strand, opsamling sted for turer til diverse øer. Kan godt anbefales som lav budget hotel. Tæt på gode restauranter.
