Beautiful private beach, our beach bungalow was steps to the beach. Great spot for snorkeling with a variety of sea life. Food was excellent with very good prices. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Great spot.

I had a wonderful stay at A-Na-Lay Resort Koh Kood. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow right on the shore, and waking up to the sound of the waves every morning was magical. The room was cozy, clean, and perfectly placed for a peaceful holiday. Special thanks to Terk at the reception — always kind, welcoming, and ready to help with anything. And a big compliment to Nam, the waitress, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. She made every meal feel warm and personal. The atmosphere, the staff, and the perfect beachfront location made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!

I was greeted by a very friendly staff and stayed in a very clean and modern bungalow located on one of the best beaches on the island , I would recommend it and will definitely be back ! Some the best snorkeling on the island is located at that beach and it’s a great beach for paddle boarding and swimming

Nice stay

Nice bungalow on the beach, a little worn off though. The location on the island is convenient as well since all the cool stuff is a short motor drive away. The food in the restaurant is good, but there are also a lot of great restaurants in the proximity. Breakfast was plentiful, but it would be nice if there was a bit more diversity - after a few days of eating the same breakfast it gets a little boring.

Pretty location that will not break the bank

We returned here after staying here 4 years ago. We really liked it then, and still like it a lot. Really nice location with comfortable bungalows, helpful staff, a lovely setting and a bit of snorkeling too. But we are in Thailand, so of course "same same"! Still so much broken and old stuff lying everywhere, even at the entrance of the resort /-:

We had some difficulty initially trying to communicate from Canada that we wanted to shift our dates by two days. We arrived 2 days after we had initially booked. The manager had made the changes and instead of losing two night we were booked for the correct length of time. We ended up extending our stay by 5 days. The staff were all wonderful, helpful, friendly and attentive. As others have said the resort is tucked away in a private bay with the opposite side being completely undeveloped. Great snorkelling and swimming with kayak rentals. Snorkel gear can be rented from BB Divers. The food in the restaurant is good and there are lots of other options fairly close by. We rented a scooter from A Na Lay which made exploring the island much easier.

Lovely resort. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Our booking was for 2 VIP seafront places. Where we were put was at the back of the beach area. The 2 rooms were next to each other. Looked like a shack instead of like the photos. Old tatty jacuzzi on front porch of our room. Very disappointing, so went to complain. The next morning they did move us further along. These rooms were much better, but still not like we had booked.

Lack of maintenance

Amazing looking resort,but so disappointing.Entrance surrounded by building rubbish, whole place in need of care. Room in great situation on the beach but in bad state of repair. Plug sockets hanging off the wall, leaking sink. Bedcover a small duvet but without a cover. Two towels each, neither very big and no beach towel. Pool green around the edges. Plus side one helpful receptionist . The worst place so far on a month of vacation.

Das einzig Positive ist die Lage des Strand, der Rest ist leider die reinste Katastrophe. Überall Müll hinterm Bungalow und am Strand. Der Bungalow war ganz schrecklich. Im Schlafzimmer weder eine Möglichkeit die Koffer zu platzieren. Ein Schrank für Kleidung war garnicht vorhanden. Die Kissen im Bett hart wie ein Brett. Ich habe 4 Tage als Kissen mein Strandlaken genommen, was bequemer war. Im Bad Schimmel. In den Pflanzbereichen nur vertrocknetes undefinierbares Gestrüpp, keine Möglichkeit Utensilien abzustellen. Ich habe mir mit dem Nachtisch aus dem Schlafzimmer einen Notbehelf errichtet, von der Sauberkeit des Waschbeckens ganz zu schweigen. Reinigung des Bungalows und Handtuchwechsel (1Duschtuch)nur alle 2 Tage. Das Frühstück hätte okay sein können, wenn die Schalen und das Besteck mal aufgefüllt würden. Sorry. aber das war echt die schlimmste Unterkunft die wir je hatten und dafür zu teuer.

Es war überall Müll, Matratzen, WC, alte Badewannen direkt hinter dem Bungalows, stehendes Brackwasser,daher viele Moskitos, beim Frühstück unaufmerksames Personal,schimmliges Toastbrot,das nur an den Seiten abgeschnitten wurde nachdem ich was gesagt habe. Bungalows stark renovierungsbedürftig,vor allem das Bad. Nicht sein Geld wert!!!

Der Bungalow war grenzwertig, insbesondere die sehr schmale Flügel Zugangstür und das Badezimmer. Beim Duschen stand das ganze Bad unter Wasser, da keinerlei Abtrennung in dem tiefergelegten Minibad war und somit Waschbecken und Toilette ebenfalls unter Wasser standen. Treppe runter ins Bad sehr hoch. Generell sind etliche Zeiten in der am Berg gebauten Anlage sehr hoch. 4 Kleiderbügel im offenen Schrank, kein safe im Zimmer. Keine Möglichkeit Wäsche zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Frühstück einfach gehalten und sehr überschaubar Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit.
