Large rooms overlooking the pool, very comfortable bed. Friendly hotel staff. 10-minute walk to the beach with many restaurants along the way. Quiet area, Koh Tao is a short boat ride away. Enjoyed our stay.

I couldn't suggest a better place to stay in Koh Tao. Our room was clean, spacious, and very well located to the rest of the town. The pool was big, beautiful and photogenic too. The area was a quick 7 minute walk from the main part of town, which was perfect for us as we wanted to avoid too much foot traffic and noise while still being close. The most amazing part of our stay was the staff. We were so well taken care of, and were able to book all of our excursions (hikes, snorkelling, drives/commute) through the front desk. I genuinely think this is the best place to stay in downtown Koh Tao. Will 1000% be coming back!

Great stay at the Aiya

Great stay at the Aiya. This is a hotel run by a family but it feels professionally run. I appreciated the service: free pickup and was able to check in before noon. The pool is lovely and they include snorkling masks to take to the beach. I would absolutely stay here again.

Very helpful staff, welcome strong they also send a free taxi at arrival. I rent the scooter with the property and it was in very good condition and not expansive. The toilet was dark, missing lights. The room is basic, nothing was missing.

Leider war mein Aufenthalt insgesamt enttäuschend. Alle dunklen Handtücher rochen unangenehm – auch die ausgetauschten an den folgenden Tagen. Die fleckige Bettwäsche wurde während meines Aufenthalts nicht gewechselt. Das Badezimmer wirkte insgesamt dunkel, unangenehm und schmutzig; Seife und Haken zum Aufhängen der Handtücher fehlten. Auch der Wasserspender machte durch sichtbare Ablagerungen keinen hygienischen Eindruck. Das Türschloss wirkte zudem locker. Ab dem frühen Morgen war es durch die Baustelle nebenan sehr laut; ab etwa 8 Uhr war an Schlaf nicht mehr zu denken. Zusätzlich war die Poolbar wegen Umbauarbeiten geschlossen, und am Abreisetag wurden Solarmodule auf das Dach gehoben. Über diese Einschränkungen hätte man die Gäste vorab informieren können. Auch Straßen- und Poollärm waren deutlich zu hören. Sehr positiv war die Dame an der Rezeption: Sie war ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend und kümmerte sich hervorragend um meinen Rollerverleih und einen Schnorchelausflug. Auch der Pool war sauber und gepflegt. Für den Preis findet man auf Ko Tao meiner Meinung nach bessere Unterkünfte.

Super Preis für ein super Zimmer. Die Lage des Hotels ist super, mit dem Roller nur ca. 2 Minuten vom Zentrum entfernt. Wäre auch zu Fuß super erreichbar. Das Zimmer ist groß, das Bett auch und die Matratze sehr bequem. Man hat einen großen Balkon mit Tisch und Stühlen mit Blick auf den Pool.
