We are those that go out of town for a purpose and are basically in our room for a few hours. So paying for luxury is not required. This place is as advertised, older and cheap. But the room was clean including the bathroom. The bed was fine, the staff are nice. Fit our needs just fine.
The front desk staff were friendly enough, but the 50s motel hasn’t had an investment this century. A low budget inn close enough to the stadium for football gamedays. The neighborhood ain’t great, but not as bad as advertised- it’s on its own fenced compound and there’s no reason to walk anywhere.
The area felt a little sketchy, but that’s probably me just not being familiar with it.
Usually hotels have soap, but this one did not.
And there were bugs and cockroaches all over the room.
The door had a gap between it and the frame, so air was coming in and the nearby highway traffic was very loud.
The room was fine but very out dated. The outside of the hotel is dirt and in very rough condition. This hotel sit in a very bad location with alot of beggars and vagrants around. We did not feel safe during our stay.
Cockroaches some lights and plugs didn’t work hard location to find old tube tv cigarette burns in sheet no fridge or microwave no remote for tv bad location when I made order on Hotels.com it was $60 but then it went up to $70 he said that don’t rent for less than $75 I stayed in way better rooms for $50 I would suggest to my enemy stay there he said they have new owner and coming to fix the property up
