“Me han tratado de maravilla, especialmente Yolanda que aunque llegue muy tarde me hizo el favor de prepararme algo para cenar. Hotel boito, comodo, limpio y un trato inmejorable.”

“Delightful inn with clean, comfortable en-suite bedrooms, lovely bar / restaurant with cask ales and delicious meals, all supported by friendly, helpful staff.”

“I was there for 1 night and just used it for a bed for the night”

“I was really looking forward to my stay at The Candlesticks. However as soon as I entered, I began to have my doubts. “This was a 3 night stay, with 11 other golfers, in the heart of Wantage, It is an old property in the town square. Rooms were small but adequate. Bathroom was well maintained and clean. (Nice towels). We dined there once and breakfasted three times. Food was good. Service was very professional and friendly. The bar was well stocked and lively whilst we were there. Only criticism was the hotel seemed very warm especially in the room. I had a fan and could open the window etc but it did not...

“Primarily chosen as it was near to an event we were attending at the Nene Valley Railway (a short drive from the pub). We liked that the accommodation was in a separate building to the pub (although the pub was not loud). Good breakfast, evening meals, and friendly staff. We have a lovely walk around the village one evening, went back following day to try the local tea rooms but they closed early which was a shame. Will definitely stay here again”

“Great room and perfect location just a bit weird having my own shower and toilet down the corridor”
