“全体的良かったです。気になった事は、各所に足拭き用のマットが置かれていますが、それが足に引っかかったりして、危なかった。特に風呂に入るところは、突起様のマットでめくれてきて足に辺り少し痛みを感じました。その他、子供達が帰りたくないと泣きだすなど、子供達には良い宿であったと思います。”

“Positives: The mountain and lake view was breathtaking. The price was reasonable for a summer weekend. The area around the property is walkable with a nice sidewalk, Parking was easy and convenient. Weakness: The bath and shower area was dated. No elevator for the 2nd floor rooms. Steps are narrow for all of us with larger feet (difficult to navigate).”

“The onsen design room was very comfortable and spacious with great view of the lake and blueberry garden. The amazing staff from the valet attendant to the checkin assistant greeted us with warm welcome and made us feel right at home. Nice touch having to remove our shoes before stepping on the tatami corridor. There are shoe lockers at the entrance of each floor corridor. The in-room onsen was lovely. There’s frosted glass (balcony railing) for privacy otherwise would have great lake/mountain...

“The location is beautiful, and the nightly fireworks are a nice experience. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was disappointing. The room was not very clean, with stains on the floor and dust on the window ledges. The soundproofing was also very poor, and we could clearly hear noise from other rooms. Overall, the hotel did not meet our expectations, and the value for money was disappointing. Lake Toya is worth visiting, but I would recommend considering other accommodation options.”
