“Empfehlenswerte Ferienwohnung in der Nähe des Kiyomizu-dera. Sehr durchdachte Einrichtung. Nach Gion Zentrum 15 Minuten Fußweg. Steile Stufen ins 1. Geschoss ( Schlafzimmer und Tatami-Raum). Sehr schöner Miniaturgarten vor dem Badezimmer. Klimatisierung in jedem Raum. Die Wohnung macht einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Wir haben dort zwei schöne Wochen verbracht.”

“Wonderful place to stay, we loved that the area was in a real neighborhood and not touristy. The only complaint is the main bedroom faces a an alley that has a motion activated light that shines bright on and off all night while you are trying to sleep. Dark shade would help this situation. ”

“Comfortable, well-located house in a quiet residential alley. The house was quite cold when I arrived, and it took some time to heat up. The place doesn’t get much sunlight. Cool to stay in a machiya. Stairs are narrow and more like a ladder, but easily navigable for younger and smaller bodies. For the price there are more comfortable and equally well situated places around. ”
