The White Lady was really nice to stay at. The staff were really super nice and friendly. The service and food was very good and we walked from the hotel all over Kinsale.

This little family run establishment should be full each and every day. The rooms are spacious (there’s only 10) and super comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant downstairs - BEST meal we had on the trip. Absolutely loved our stay and we’re already planning our return trip!

Anthony and the rest of the staff at the white lady were an incredible, helped make a trip of a lifetime to a stunningly beautiful town even more memorable. Everyone was so kind and helpful, and friendly. Would recommend staying here to anyone looking to visit kinsale.

Most welcoming experience we've had in a long time. Owners Anthony and Roman (and all the staff, for that matter) are kind, courteous and, above all, friendly. They all provided a family environment.

We were put in a room that needed an update… If you stay here, ask for a remodeled room. The beds in our room were hard, surface level cleaning was done, but there were definitely some questionable spots in the bathroom… staff were kind breakfast was good… The price was high based on other hotels in the area.

The room was a bit tired. The party noise outside was pretty intolerable. If you can sleep through anything, then this location is worth it. The windows are not enough to block out the very loud party noise outside that went past midnight. The manager we met was a tall heavy fellow that was quite loud and friendly at first, then obnoxious. Kisale is a very nice town and this location is good. If you can sleep though the loud noise I would stay here. But I personlaly wouldn't again.

A stay to remember

-Dated furniture and decoration. -Mouldy Hotel Information Folder. -Bottom sheet doesn’t cover the mattress. -Rusting bed lights with dusty lamp shades. -Cobwebs in the corner. -Shower temperature goes very hot and cold -Damaged shower tray. -There were two hand towels for our stay, yes one each. -Bathroom door lock not working. -Hole in the ceiling with wires poking out was a smoke detector. There is one nearer the bed. -TV picture freezes and breaks up preventing you from watching a programme. -Bathroom illuminated mirror doesn’t light. -Heated towel rail not turned on. This is important as if you decided to have a shower or wash in the evening your one towel will still be wet in the morning. So do you wash at night or morning. Some may ask why I have given such a high star rating to The White Lady, Kinsale. I would like as many people as possible to read my review so they can decide if they would also like to have the same experiences we had.

This property would berated a 2.5 star. The staff were great but everything is cheap in the room. My queen bed was made up of two cheap mattresses that were different heights. The single bed was cheap. Location is good very walkable town.

Absolutely amazing staff from the minute we walked into the hotel. No elevator and we had very heavy bags so they delivered them to our door. We had to check out an hour before breakfast so they made us a fresh breakfast at 7:30am. Went to their bar and very friendly bartenders. Offered excellent suggestions for going around town. Parking was on street and super convenient. Hotel was very clean and looked recently updated. Definitely 5 star for us!

Kinsale lohnt einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt! Viele Gassen und Geschäfte, das Fort ist definitiv einen Besuch wert und man geht immer am Wasser entlang-traumhaft. Das Hotel ist klein, aber fein mit sehr guter Küche.

Pros & Cons

Pros: Owners and restaurant servers were friendly and helpful. Location was good, close to town.Excellent food at the hotel restaurant. Cons: Uncomfortable bed and pillows. Noise. No elevator - had to drag our luggage up and down 3 flights of stairs and staff to help (ages: 85, 79, 80, 68). Only 3 parking spots for entire hotel/restaurant and very little street parking available. Probably wouldn’t stay here again or recommend to friends.
