About a 45 minute drive to Llangollen which was a lovely place to visit. “We stayed at Craigside in Room 21, which we have stayed in a number of times as regular guests. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. The hotel was extremely busy with a large group and we felt this had a noticeable impact on the level of service at breakfast. We came down around 9am, with breakfast served until 10am, yet when I asked for white bread for toast, I was told it was frozen and would take some time to defrost. There was also very little brown bread available and the juices...

“This is a gorgeous stay. Conwy is like a fairy tale and this stay added to the charm. Check in was easy, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. No AC, so bring portable fans if you need it. Just darling, I will be dreaming of when I will be returning. Easy walk from train station, castle, and dining.”
