B&B en Kingussie

“Elizabeth sent me an email before I was checking in making sure i was aware that there would be no one present on site. Keys were left exactly where she said they would be and instructions for breakfast and everything else were easy to understand and locate. The Crossing is suitably located right next to the Kingussie railroad station and is close to the Barracks - one of the sites to see while we were there. Would highly recommend this place.”

“Hosts were very friendly and attentive, providing a great welcome and suggestions for dinner in the evening, as well as a recommendation of an activity to do the next day after we checked out. Bathroom was private for our room, though not connected to the room itself. The bathroom was very nice. Our room also had a sink in the bedroom itself. Bed was a bit soft - the mattress was not the most comfortable, but overall, no issue. We very much enjoyed our stay, and if we stay in the area again...

“La habitación era pequeña y no tenía armario ni cajones por la que había que dejar la ropa en las maletas y como la habitación era pequeña tropezabas con ellas constantemente. En el hotel hacía frío, no ponían la calefacción. Nos pusieron un radiador en nuestra habitación y allí se estaba bien pero durante el desayuno te quedabas helado. Los dos primeros días la temperatura fue de 9 grados de máxima. En España con esa temperatura tenemos la calefacción puesta. No me quejo de vicio. Para que...

“Stayed in the alpine family room which was EXCELLENT - two separated (by doors) areas - one with twin beds, one with a double. Lovely clean, personal hotel and a fantastic breakfast (£13 extra each for fully cooked). The town was a good stop off between Edinburgh and Loch Ness for us, but actually plenty of local sights to see. Check in is by key code but worked well enough. Two floors of steps (no problem for us but if that’s a challenge then be warned). ”
