Had a good night's rest after a long day on the bike. Very quiet at night. A bit of a walk to town for food. Sidewalk stops short a few hundred metres of reaching the property, so gotta walk on gravel shoulder , but doable. Rooms were a throwback to late 70s, but appeared to be clean. Bathroom was renovated and clean. Everything worked. Staff very friendly. Would stay there again.

Stayed before and since upgrades made to bathroom. Only suggestion would be to up date bedspreads to make look more modern and maybe artwork on walls. Neither affected my opinion of this place, just a thought. The owner is sweet and super friendly. My go to when in the area!

Rooms were adequate and clean. Not fancy but had everything you need. Great location. Lots of open space outside. Quiet, peaceful and the owners are lovely. Walking/biking trail across the road that is part of huge trail system. Would go here again and plan a bike ride.

Enjoyed the heritage feel of the place. If u want fancy, this is not for you, but if u want clean, quiet, affordability, utility and convenience… this cannot be beat. If you like history, be sure to ask about the fieldstone house next door. Amazing bit of Canadiana history here! Warm & welcoming owners!

Squeaky clean. Quiet, about a mile out of town. Very comfortable beds and two extra pillows available in the room. Excellent shower - good water pressure, can also set up water temperature just right. Microwave is on small side, no electric tea kettle in the room but available on demand.
