Parking was convenient and easy. The kitchen was well equipped. Our room had none of the items listed as available for purchase in the refrigerator. We never received a code to enter the main door to obtain our key; fortunately another guest arrived and let us in. The room was immaculate and it was a great location; an easy walk to restaurants and shops.

We enjoyed a 4 day stay at the Smith Hotel in August. The location is ideal and in walking distance the main streets of Kingston. The hotel is well maintained and has a lovely garden area to sit in. The loft we were in was clean and came with a fully equipped in the kitchen that included a dining table with chairs. A welcome message and manual was provided to suggest restaurants and how to operate and answer any questions about the loft amenities. In addition to toiletries, towels and paper products you are provided with a steamer for clothes and a hairdryer. In the kitchen there are teas and coffee, with milk and cream provided in the refrigerator. The beds are comfortable and come with both soft or firmer pillows to account for your preference. Connecting to WIFI was seamless and you could cast to the Marshall speaker with Bluetooth. If you have any questions or need anything there is a number to call. A dedicated parking spot is provided with each loft.

Gorgeous property! We stayed at the Belvedere recently as well and this time brought friends to enjoy the Smith (three rooms total). We were all suitably impressed and will return! Special shout out to Melanie - such a gem. And the front desk agent who recognized my husband on the Smith "Ring" cam from our Belvedere stay (cannot recall her name but I believe she is from Brazil - she is so lovely). Kudos to all!

This is the 4th time we have stayed here and it is lovely as usual. A little bit of a parking issue was handled quickly. Beautiful & comfortable room and the location is convenient and walkable to shopping and restaurants.

The property is beautiful. Our room was incredible, a bit industrial/modern. Full kitchen, living room, loft bedroom. There was a record player to listen to and a speaker you could pair your music with also, which was fun. There was an issue where they didn’t provide us with the code to get into the building, which delayed our entry by two hours, in the rain. Very frustrating. Plus the very next day was the beginning of the month in which that code changes and we were not notified all day until just before 2 PM. However, these things were addressed with management, so may not be an issue next time.

The Smith Hotel: A Must Stay

This is a beautiful hotel with a great location near everything in downtown. The loft was amazing, interior decor was spectacular. Though contactless it was still easy to communicate with staff through their text service. Check in and checkout process was seamless. Wonderful hotel.

This hotel was really beautiful, clean and such a retreat. Contactless entry was easy and parking was also really simple. We enjoyed having the Bluetooth speaker, the toiletries smelled fantastic and the kitchen was set up perfectly. The bed and linens were so comfy. Would recommend this place for sure.
