Sun View Motel has a very homey feel to it. The room was very clean. It has a grassy hill to walk, sit and read. I’d definitely go back there to stay!

Clean rooms & gorgeous views! The bathroom was large, and the beds & floors were very clean & well-maintained. Each room had an outdoor table & 2 chairs provided to sit at to enjoy the mountain views. Plus, there was a large side yard on the property with plenty of room for anyone to enjoy it. True to its name, the Sunview has areas where both the sunrise & sunset can be seen (the sunset view is especially stunning).

The room was clean, beds and pillows were good. Parking is on site self parking. Amenities were ok, but I recommend to bring your own. Motel was quiet at night and the black out curtains help to have a good sleep.

Sun View is a great place to stay when skiing at Hunter Mtn. The rooms can easily handle 4 adults with ski equipment. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

We stayed over a super cold weekend and the room was nice and warm! Owners were very responsive to emails and questions. The first night there were parties in the building which made it hard to sleep. Second night was super quiet and great. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.
