Old world charm with modern updates. It’s very stylish and comfortable. The free bottled water in the lobby came in handy for those hot summer days. And the breakfast had lots of choices. My favorite being the croissant breakfast sandwich. The neighbourhood is filled with Victorian homes and stunning gardens and is oh so quiet. Short walks to the university, restaurants and the lake. I highly recommend the Rosemount Inn.

This was our third time staying at this Inn, in the same room in the coachhouse. It's a beautiful mansion and the location is perfect. You can park when you get there and walk everywhere. Downtown and the waterfront are all in walking distance. We took our bicycles the first time but just decided to walk everywhere and have continued with that. The breakfast is selfserve but there are ample choices: tea, coffee, juices, yogurt, scones, jam, muffins, fruit salad, fresh fruit, and daily changes of wraps, sandwiches, or English muffins. Any restrictions, let them know, such as egg white omelettes with no salt, grease. There are different places to sit outside on the lawn or veranda. Our room has a microwave, small fridge, fireplace, dining table, separate shower, and jacuzzi tub. A lot of people are return customers such as parents with kids in colleges or universities. We'll definitely be going again.

A truly remarkable stay! The 175-year-old dwelling exudes character and history—you can really feel the stories in the walls. The staff were phenomenal, going above and beyond at every turn.
