Owner very helpful and accomodating. The room was clean and the furniture was fairly new. The air conditioner worked well. Could have used a little coffee machine to make coffee in the morning, but on the whole the experience was pleasant.

Good value for money

Worked well as a place to stay on the 401 between Montreal and Toronto. Pretty much what I'd expect in this price range. Friendly staff!

Very nice

Nice and clean. Manger friendly. Nice to have a chair outside and watch the rabbits. However I got eaten alive by something. Ok restaurant down the road. Would stay again

Good inexpensive clean motel. No frills, a bit dated ('80s), but comfortable and a good value. Great for a pit stop and in a very good location; across from Tim's and next to A&W, on Princess St.

Good motel at reasonable price

This was a nice and convenient place to stay in Kingston. No fault with the room, which was spacious, clean and comfortable. The owner was really kind and friendly, and gave us good advice on what to do in the area

The staff was great! Very helpful and friendly, and they spoke perfect English which I appreciated as a non French speaker. Highly recommend.

Embassy motel in Kingston ON

This was an older motel and was showing a few signs of it age, but everything was clean and well-maintained and the staff were helpful and friendly. No coffee-maker in our room but several food options within walking distance -- including a Tim's across the street! Not so close to attractions (except for Sir John A.'s grave) but easy drive to downtown.

Comfortable for a day or two

Check in was fast service was good the staff were polite and knowledgable about the area .i found the room was spotless although definitely not luxurious would stay there again

Nice but dated!

Great price, very clean, could stand some updates....still 70's style, nice to park in front of our room...fridge was a pleasant surprise....bathroom was clean...air conditioner worked great....comfortable bed....great overnight spot....would definitely go back when we visit Kingston...oh, and Timmy's is right across the road😊

Friendly but noisy

Friendly and cooperative staff BUT the room is close to a busy road, and one can hear its noise as well as of people next door . There is practically almost no noise insulation . The room should be upgraded. Quite a large one (2 beds) but quite dated.

Exceptional Value

This motel I believe must be the best deal in town. This is a basic motel room but the room was immaculate and nicely painted and the carpet appeared new. Two chairs outside at the walkway under a roof for relaxing outside. We prefer the motel setting for a road trip as our vehicle was right outside our door. So easy to load and unload. In the past, I have sometimes felt that in a motel I sacrifice cleanliness compared to a big hotel, but this definitely was not the case. There are numerous restaurants close by and a Tim Horton's right across the street. This is a family run motel and we were treated with the most kindness and helpfulness we have ever experienced. We will definitely stay at this motel on our next trip to Kingston and will recommend it to family and friends.
