you are basically their hostage, as they lock you behind an iron gated entry and you have no key. no privacy or freedom. also this is located in bad part of town

The home was authentic Jamaican, gated and secure. I arrived late in the day with an emerging dental emergency. The next morning this required immediate attention. The Hostess Tamara walked with me to a nearby Dental Centre to be successfully treated. As I returned and departed for the International Airport, the host Shane taxied me to the airport for a flat $25 rate as advertised, (airport taxis were asking for $35-$45 for the same transport.) The hosts were welcoming, attentive and gracious. This home is a no brainer choice for any budget minded traveller who doesn't want to compromise security.
