The castle itself was amazing, the food and service was great. The lodge was very nice but would say it doesn't measure up to staying in the hotel. I would recommend a castle room and take advantage of the beautiful dinner and amazing breakfast. Great value for a castle hotel! Would stay again.

Did not expect to stay in a fairly modern room several hundred meters from the castle, but it was clean and quiet. The breakfast was to die for and the setting inside the castle was exquisite. Loved our stay!
