Lovely stay

We stayed over as part of our visit to see the Thursford Christmas Spectacular. The hotel is lovely and the staff very helpful. Fabulous breakfast and comfortable rooms would definitely recommend

Our weekend stay was so comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very peaceful and comfortable. Everything was spotless. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good. Gluten Free is well catered for as is vegetarian. Lovely breakfast too. We Will definitely return.

Relaxing Break

My husband and I both enjoyed our short break, we could not fault anyone or anything Excellent accommodation, excellyservice and food. Lovely airy bright hotel, great atmosphere, we will go again and recommend it to our friends.

This was an amazing hotel with service from the owners second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Food was excellent, wonderful chef. We felt thoroughly spoiled, by all staff. It was lovely to come back to after a day out.

There was no hot water for our last 3 days & no heating. Appreciate things break down but no communication. So no showers and cold in our room but nothing done to help even though we told manager. Very noisy music on Saturday pm and rowdy group at the bar Sat night. Our dining table was right by them. Small refund given for inconvenience re 2 days but should have been for 3. Will not stay here again. Bit of a ‘Fawlty Towers’!

Great for tourists

Our stay got off to a great start with the lovely receptionist taking us to our room with a bottle of iced water which was most welcome after a long drive. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with all the amenities we would expect. Dinner was superb. The wait staff were extremely polite and helpful. The bed was super comfy and the next morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with every need catered for by the lovely hosts. Would certainly recommend and go back for another stay.

Great country hotel

Friendly helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Provided free cold water for us at night. Free plentiful parking on site. Lovely location. Excellent breakfast with a good choice. Would definitely stay again.
