I was very impressed with this hotel! Such a huge difference between this hotel and the Motel 6 located next door. The staff were welcoming and efficient. We needed an early check-in and they immediately tended to cleaning the room so that they could accommodate us. The room itself was all brand new, spacious, and clean, and the beds were super comfortable! The only downfall was that they were in the middle of construction so the pool was closed and there was no breakfast, but we did get it at a discounted price.

Most importantly, the bedsheets had large stains including potentially blood. This is 1. disgusting and 2. suggests the possibility of bedbugs, although I did not see any or see other evidence of them. Also important: The inner lock on the door was missing, making it impossible to secure the door beyond the key-lock, which felt a little less comfortable. Less important: The lighting in the room was terrible. But the staff were all very kind and helpful! Five stars to them.

Weird but Worthwhile

The room was nicer than expected. It was also quiet, a surprise given the number of solo working men in residence. Not sure what happened to the free WiFi and breakfast that were advertised. And some strange woman stood outside my room and yelled “Tamales, tamales, tamales” for ten minutes at about 8:30 p.m. Other than that, the place was comfortable, spacious and quiet.

The towels in the restroom were very old and not good quality. The shower held was horrible it was not easy to get warm water I had to play with the handle. The shower head was too high and im short so I had to take a shower all the way in the back of the shower. The shower head needs to be flexible or lowered. The room was clean and the staff asked if I needed service. The parking was a bit tight but I found parking close to my room. The check in and check out was fast. The bed was a little hard but the pillows ere soft.
