Country cottage retreat

These cottages are actually 3 bedroom houses with a great enclosed garden to the rear. Disabled access to the downstairs bathroom and bedroom and two big bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen diner is adequate with all you’d need to cook a meal, although the utensils and pans could do with an upgrade, they’re getting well worn. Decent living room with tv rounds it off well.

Fabulous stay and great location.

We’ve stayed here for several years now both in the hotel and the cottages, the cottages are fabulous for our needs. The downside is the cottages are very tired and a lot is worn out due to the volume of residents using the cottages. They need a whole new refurb throughout although we were told some are having new floors and reservations done. These are never empty so they will certainly benefit from a good refurb and therefore will reap the benefit from the expense spent in the long run. Having said this the hotel, staff and food served is brilliant. Andrea and Helen are both fabulous and so friendly. Nothing is ever to much for either of them. Having left this review will certainly continue to use the hotel and cottages as they tick every box for us as a family and the hotel is situated centrally to everywhere we need to be. Thanks Upton Court we’ll be back soon.
