I was over from Australia, for a funeral and stayed for one night. The room was lovely and met my needs. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. The breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious 😋 Freddie was lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay here again.

This well maintained old home with its lovely garden is a quiet oasis within walking distance of the heretage center, Dean castle and park and many ding and shopping options. Great home base for us.

The owner, Frank, bent over backwards to make sure of our comfort. Very friendly. Everything easy. After some of the places we’ve been in, it was just what we needed to unwind. Highly recommend.

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Appreciated having oat milk and milkless butter provided for my dairy free girlfriend. Was also kind to let us keep our baggage and have a later check out.

I advised them that I would arrive early and it wasn’t a problem my room was cleaned and ready for me to get changed and leave my luggage so I could attend a function at the other side of town, I didn’t get back until around 1am but had a key to let myself back in. A fantastic breakfast the following morning and nothing was a problem for Fred, he served me up a freshly cooked cheese omelette which was delicious, I’d definitely go back. Thanks again guys.

The guesthouse is a beautiful old building with new modern facilities. Beds comfortable, shower excellent spacious room with 2 chairs. Very clean. Good ample breakfast. What stands out is the accommodating, friendly staff. The parking is limited and tight at the hotel but there are other places to park close by

We have just returned from a 2 night stay in room 1 here. It was a very clean and spacious room with a very good ensuite shower room. Lots of thought had obviously gone into what guests require in their rooms: plent of storage, hanging space, little extras and a good sized mini fridge as well as a good tv with different channels and excellent wifi coverage. The breakfast each morning was excellent: freshly cooked and plentiful. We would certainly recommend this guest house most highly. Our thanks to Fred for his welcome and for looking after us so well.

Weekend stay

My lower scores dont detract from the enjoyment of our stay.The Guest house suited our needs in regards to location and handiness to main transport links.Although the Dean Park is obviously still a work in progres and some areas a bit dated,the place is clean and tidy and has enough for me to recommend for a short stay.Where Dean Park scores highly is in its welcome and the attention of its host and owner Fred,one of the nicest Hosts we have ever met,and im sure if needed any forthcoming help would be on hand if required.Breakfast is Superb,cooked and served by Fred himself.Great quality ingredients and perfect poached eggs.Keep up the good work Fred and im sure you will reap the rewards.Thankyou.

Fred the host was brilliant, extremely helpful, guest house was very clean and was kept in great condition. Breakfast was great plenty of choice and freshly cooked. Met some interesting people there over breakfast which is always nice. Will stay again when I come up to visit our grandchildren .
