The building is beautiful inside and out and is on a gorgeous vast property. Our room was very large and well appointed and clean. The staff were wonderful and the restaurants and bars were fantastic. We highly recommend this property!!

Pretty property. Beds were ok. Service was not that great in the restaurants. The staff is not well trained to remove dishes, cutlery etc and no one seems to know how dishes are prepared or what liquors are available. :/ Front desk staff and bellmen were incredible. Beyond incredible to be honest. Dermot is a phenomenal human and honestly made my stay there special.

This Estate is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. If you’re looking for amazing food beautiful grounds and a magical experience, this is it. Our room was massive. We had our own sitting area outside our room and our bathroom could have held a party.

Avoid if you like sleep and interesting staff

Dreadful night sleep. Bedroom having audible mechanical noise preventing any kind of rest . Staff the following morning couldn’t be less interested . With a promise for investigation and follow up call that never materialised . Better service and facilities expected considering the high room rate they charge . Avoid!

Stayed in a Manor House Suite for one night. Enjoyed a massage, time in the spa, a walk within the grounds, and dinner at The Grill & Bar. The room was large and very satisfactory. The spa was pleasant. The restaurant food was okay (had a burger with no choice on how to be cooked which signals to me it isn’t fresh which I would expect at a site of this calibre), drinks were great. The staff overall are fantastic and friendly with a real can do attitude and mucking in together to give a great experience. The hotel grounds are wonderful and with two distance designated walks (2.5km and 4km) options are simple to navigate. Were it not for some overspilling noise from the resident’s bar overnight I would have given 5* overall. Staff however responded positively when discussed and made additional efforts to make things right so you can’t fault that. Bumped into the owners while walking the grounds. I get they live on site but a short chat with customers wouldn’t go a miss. You never know who your customers are.
