A wonderful peaceful 3-day stop staying in the superior lodge room. The room itself comprised a spacious living area and a similarly large bedroom set a short walk from the castle itself. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful. Breakfast was superb with a great selection of high quality options. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay in the area.

The grounds were amazing, so dreamy, it is very elegant, staff so friendly and fun, beautiful place, loved the yard games, the setting is spectacular!. Trails around gardens. We couldn't get enough of this place. Fantastic!

Our Kilkea Castel stay was amazing. It was quite beautiful clean and very pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Also the activities room was great and the staff was very helpful there as well. The only thing that was a bit off putting was the smoking in the patio area while me and my children were sitting outside although I'm not sure non smoking areas are a thing in Ireland. Also we came on the hottest week of the year and there wasn't air conditioning or enough fans as well as screens on the doors or windows so we can open when them and let air in due to the bugs flying in the room.

Really enjoyed our stay here the place is stunning with loads to do. Enjoyed a couple of pints in the castle by the fire and had a great breakfast the next day. The lodges are huge and very well maintained. A real getaway

Staff were amazing, so friendly and answered any of our questions or requests. Food at the golf club restaurant was delicious and the breakfast was really good. Grounds are stunning to stroll around and well kept. Comfy bed in the lodge.

Lovely hotel

Very beautiful area, castle and lodge. We hade a really nice stay in our room at the Lodge. Nice big room with a nice view. Very Friendly staff and nice big breakfast. Nice castle bar with fantastic view of the beautiful garden. Love to stay here again. Good free Parking just outside the lodge.

Dream vacation

Exactly what you would expect staying in a picturesque castle and the beautiful grounds surrounding it. It’s like taking a step back in time and enjoying the tranquility and history of it all. Staff was very kind, helpful, attentive and the food was delicious. Would absolutely recommend to everyone!!
