The property was nice. The pool and hot tub were cleaned every day. There were barbecues to use in the courtyard and they were cleaned every day as well. You could walk to the beach, but it was not a sandy Beach for swimming, which we would have preferred for our kids. We had to drive to a nice swimming beach.

This is our second time staying at Maui Sunset. It is a great complex in a central location to explore Maui. We were there during a bad storm which limited what we could do but communication from the office and maintenance team was good and we had an enjoyable stay considering the circumstances. The first time we stayed the unit had a lot more supplies like a cooler, beach blanket, pool noodles etc, this time was more limited, I suppose it depends on the unit owners. Overall a family friendly place with a nice ocean view and pool.

The property very well kept! The flowers, grass and landscape were beautiful ! The pool and bbq area was clean and readily available. The hot tub was a plus after a dip in the pool. The option for tennis, racket ball, shuffle board and the putting green kept our kids active and engaged. The beach that the property overlooks was perfect for sunset and photos. The rooms bed was uncomfortable and overall outdated. It was marketed as an ocean view but it wasn’t. My family was still not disappointed and will be back in the future. Location 10/10, close to town but out of the hustle and bustle.

Our family of five had a great stay at Maui Sunset. The condo was spacious and comfortable and very nice inside. We loved having a kitchen and washer and dryer. The facility courtyard has lots of activities (putting, pickle ball, bocci, and ) along with the pool. It was a great home base for our family vacation and not overly crowded or touristy like other spots on the island. Lots of food and shopping also nearby.

Location was great, common areas like green way and pool were very enjoyable! The only reason why I’m giving this 4 starts is because the floors were so dirty, like we had to wear shoes inside or else our feet would be black. If a towel hit the floor on the wet spot it would need to be washed because of the grimy floors. Would still stay there again, just going in knowing to expect that would be helpful!
