Best in Galaxy

As a Hard core Road warrior (+45 yrs) I can definitely say this is the BEST place in North Deutschland. I’ve recently stayed in 5 star all over the place, heck, I dream Mars/Jupiter/Saturn (definitely not PLUTO) but Der Steigeberg

Property and staff were amazing !! Food , accommodations and transport were great. Unfortunately when it came down to the people in public in general the people of Germany were extremely un helpful, they seem to basically not have time to even point the right way. I have traveled the work mostly on work time or military and Germany is a country I will never return to .. so sad. But what a beautiful country ….sorry !!!!!!

Das Zimmer inklusive Bad waren wunderbar. Ich hätte mir bei der Größe des Zimmers einen kleinen Schreibtisch mit passendem Stuhl gewünscht, aber das ist vermutlich eine persönliche Preferenz. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück perfekt!

Wir hatten die Unterkunft für eine Nacht gewählt um am nächsten einen kurzen Weg zum Ostseekai zu haben. Das Hotel ist sehr gut vom Hauptbahnhof mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Und nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß von der Kiellinie entfernt. Das Hotel ist sauber, die Zimmer groß und frisch renoviert.

Wir hatten aufgrund des Namens "Steigenberger" und auch aufgrund des Preises mehr erwartet. Am Ende ist es ein durchschnittliches und in die Jahre gekommenes 4-Sterne-Hotel. Es ist sauber und ordentlich, das Personal macht seinen Job, Frühstück ist vorhanden aber auch nicht wow. Das Hotel ist also okay, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältniss entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen.
