“The Mansion House was a very pleasant place to spend our few days in South Wales. The hotel and grounds were kept beautifully and the views over the estuary are just stunning .Breakfasting and dining were of a high standard and from our experience of 5* hotels , deserving of their rating. “It is a unique property a hotel with no reception area. But the rooms were clean. The lady who cleaned the rooms was lovely. Text messages were responded to timely. We didn’t have any issues while we were there. We actually extended our stay.”

“The outside tables could do with replacing. Accommodation was good but the bedside lamps didn’t work and toilet roll holder needs replacing.The food was excellent and restaurant is very well presented but the inner door from the conservatory closed with a loud bang that we could hear clearly from our room.”

“This place is truly special. The enjoyment begins the minute you walk in and meet the lovely staff. The room itself was perfect-spotlessly clean and totally comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and it was a truly incredible meal. To top off the delicious food, the chef himself came out to introduce himself afterwards so we were able to learn about where all those ingredients came from (all local and totally fresh). “Tuve una muy grata estadía. El lugar es tal como se describe. Las habitaciones son cómodas y espaciosas con una vista muy linda hacia la playa. Además hay una pequeña cocina con todo lo necesario lo cual se agradece mucho. Destaco además la amabilidad y simpatía del encargado, que estuvo siempre muy atento a cualquier necesidad. El único detalle es que en la noche es muy ruidoso ya que pasa una carretera con mucho flujo vehicular y eso afecta un poco el descanso, pero el resto, todo bien.”
