Room had flying bugs/mosquitos all over the place. I was shocked. Right when we checked in we saw them. When we asked to change rooms, they showed us a lesser room, not a better one like it should have been. They gave us bug spray to fix the problem. I was appalled. The flying insects kept joining our party all night long & were there in the morning, too. The pool had a greenish color. I had to double check it was indeed the pool because it looked like a large fountain. Very off color pool with the color green. I admit I took a dip, then immediately showered with soap. The only thing that saved this review from a terrible review, was the breakfast. It was great, cooked to order by the staff. They also featured Vietnamese food on the buffet line because this place is next to the Vietnamese Consulate. You can't have flying insects in an upgraded room, regardless if your hotel is set in a garden. It was your decision to build a garden, you have to make the proper preparations with insect removal.

My room was actually a one-bedroom apartment. The window to the hallway didn't lock. The place was very spacious. The pool received little sun exposure and remained pretty chilly.
