Our initial room smelled like someone smoke in the room and we were immediately move to another room with no questions asked. The staff was always helpful and the breakfast was good especially when they had biscuits and gravy. Next time we will not spread our hotels around the area but stay at this location as a home base. Most everything is within a short drive so driving the extra 15-20 minutes is worth staying here.

A quick and easy drive from Mt Rushmore, the Rushmore Express was a comfortable place e for an overnight in this special place in SD. Breakfast was a “Continental”, featuring biscuits and gravy. Receptionist, Alejandra, was so kind and very helpful with something we needed.
