Pool and hot tub were awesome the tropical vibe was like an island paradise. The #5 room however was a bit small I would have preferred a bigger room. The toilet area was a bit too small for my liking. Maybe a different room next visit because outside of that this place is a wonderful place to visit. There really isn’t any parking on site so you have to go about a half mile down and pay $15 for unlimited time. But that was ok with us we walked and road bikes the whole time. It was great.

An older B&B, but very comfortable breakfast was great. Courtyard is fantastic. Staff was courteous and friendly, a laid back spot on Duval street. I would recommend this one.

The breakfast is a nice treat. The pool and hot tub area were clean and very much appreciated after walking the town. The only thing I could say needs improvement is the front steps are very steep and the railing is low. The rest was beautiful.

My husband and I stayed at the Tropical Inn for 5 nights for his birthday. It's an adult only bed and breakfast on Duval St. in Key West. What a hidden gem! The location is perfect for walking to almost anything you want to do in Key West, and the staff was very helpful and nice. We actually stayed in 2 rooms, and our favorite was room #11, the Gecko Suite. It was large with a king bed and private hot tub. The other room we had was #10 which was smaller but still very cute with its own picket fence patio area next to the pool. This room had a queen bed. Beds in both rooms were very comfortable. This is not a Hilton or Marriott, this is a Victorian, Key West house with lots of character and personality. The pool was excellent, just the right temperature to be refreshing but not freezing at all so I believe it was heated. The best part ...... even though you are on Duval, the noise level is very low once you enter the Tropical Inn. It is like a secret garden when you are by the pool. A couple of our favorite restaurants, Ramshead and Blue Heaven are only a block away when you go out the back gate. Cute, romantic, great pool, wonderful location....we loved it.

So easy to get around, right on Duvet St! I will say the rooms are tiny, not a lot of room for your belongings. The bathroom door was a bifold that just was kinda there. The staff was soooo kind and accommodating, they have a small little made to order breakfast, coffee machine, beer, pop and snacks for you. We stayed during the coldest week, so it was nice to have the heated pool and hot tub. But, you might want to bring your own beach towel as they were out a couple times we sat in the hot tub. Also, just to note there is no parking at this hotel, you must find your own parking.
