The location is excellent and everything is provided. However, the waterfront is more of a lake than a true beach, and it gets a lot of seaweed in July, so look out for that. Given the steep price, free breakfast and parking should definitely be included

We loved the ocean view family suite. Beautiful decor, plenty of space and beautiful ocean views from the balconies. It had all the items we needed and really nicely furnished. Hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly throughout our stay. Unfortunately, due to understaffing, pool area became cluttered and messy with used towels and food items during busier times. The shuttle service to old town was a huge plus and helpful since we didn’t want to rent a car. Would definitely stay there again with hopes that the pool area is staffed appropriately.

The property was very nice but in need a daily maintenance: Lawn cleaned and mowed to keep up resort type appearance that it should. Probably should hose off the stairs and benches of chicken droppings, also to look resort worthy. All said and done, the room was exceptionally nice (ice maker didn't work) and the amenities were good - though some beach chairs were broken however it is noted, some of the tourist around the pool were nasty and there were kids jumping on those chairs. It is a good location, easy to go anywhere and the restaurant was very nice.

Was made aware that this location is about to undergo a massive renovation project as it transitions back to a Marriott property. So it was assumed that a lot of the small issues I experienced will be resolved. Otherwise, its a decent property and good location if you don't want to deal with the craziness of Duval St.
