I would highly recommend the Independant Inn. The staff was exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay and experience in Key West were everything we hoped it would be. The property is clean and well maintained and just as inviting as it looks in the photos. If we have the opportunity to travel to Key West again I will not hesitate to stay there again.

Absolutely loved our stay! The bed was amazing and incredibly comfortable, and the location was fantastic for the price. The pool was also really nice and a great place to relax. The staff were some of the friendliest people we’ve ever met, and the owner was super nice and welcoming. You can really tell they care about their guests and want everyone to have a great stay. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back for sure! Highly recommend! ❤️

Room was spacious, clean, and AC window unit worked great but a bit noisy. Bathroom was updated and clean(warm when the door was closed, no AC vent). Breakfast in the main entrance was simple each morning. Women at checkin and checkout was lovely and very friendly. Location is just 4 walking blocks from ferry port and ten minute walk to Duval. Great location off the beaten path!!!

The property was cute, clean, and well kept. The main issue was the check-in process. I wasn’t able to get the door code or complete check-in ahead of time, so I had to ask other guests how they checked in. Unfortunately, this caused us to miss the opportunity to get ready for dinner in the room, and I ended up changing in the car without a shower. Later that evening, I was able to speak with the owner/property manager, who was very kind and helpful and walked us through the process. I understand that Expedia may limit what information can be shared for security purposes, but clearer check-in instructions would have made the experience much smoother.

Although our stay was only one night it was great. The room we stayed in was clean and cozy. The bed is one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The staff was extremely helpful even after we checked out they let us store our bags for a few hours. So accommodating! Will definitely stay here if we come back again.

I gave this place 5 stars bc of how awesome hospitable kind & precious Roman is - front desk. He made our trip better than it would’ve been if we didn’t meet him. I think he’s the happiest most kind human ever. The pool was nice and clean/ quiet. Basics for breakfast - can’t complain. In a great area. We will go again bc of Roman.

Great location, great owners and staff, great bed, really enjoy coffee and breakfast offerings every morning. Pool water looked like it was due for cleaning. Our room temp was ok, AC really struggled with the July heat. Only reason rating was 4 and not 5 stars.
