okay place to stay, close to duval st
On Site manager did not seem enthused about being there. neglected to tell us about bike rentals, parking, etc. did offer beach towels. Look out for dog poop on porch.
Very good facility for both cost and convenience...Located a block or so from Duval St and easy walking distance for all sites and locations...Rooms are small but very clean and when in Key West, who stays in the hotel room, rite....??.....LOL
Parking is a tad limited but the staff will work with you...Once you park, you will not need your car, in most cases....Good choice and would stay there again....!!
So the hotel was adorable and in a great location. It was very clean and nicely decorated. There were two things that I didn't like. 1 the bathroom door was a slatted door and offered very little privacy. 2 at 9am people were right outside the door speaking loudly in the communal area. Key west is a town where bars are open till 4:00 and would have been nice to sleep in. With these things in mind I would definitely stay here again, I would just request a room on the second floor away from the communal area.
Great place to stay. Our room was only about 12x12 with the sink in the room, but was very comfortable. Two blocks from Ernest Hemingways house. Two blocks from Duval Street. Roosters crowed every couple hours all night, then a steady wake-up call at sun-rise. Running the air-conditioner fan all night blocked out the sound OK.
Great place, personalized care, fantastic location
We only stayed there for one night but it was perfect. When we checked in they gave us a map, indicated where to go visiting, recommended where to have diner... We found the staff was very kind. Also, tea and coffee was for free. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing is the air conditioning being a bit old and it made some noise, but ok.
