Cute place for 1 night on our journey to the keys. The beach area offered chairs on the dock to waste away on and I took a siesta out there. Overall the room was clean and comfortable. Nice shower. Comfy bed.

The office closes at 9 PM and they have an emergency number to call, not your traditional hotel. The rooms are very small but cozy. Take a look at the rooms, it may or may not suit your needs. Property has access to a boat ramp and that's really good if you own a boat. Property has no pool, there is, however; access to a small beach which is great. I feel the price is a bit higher for what the property has to offer.

We had a wonderful stay at Pelican Cottage in Key Largo. The views of Florida Bay were absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset. The waterfront location provides a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that is hard to beat. The property offered excellent value for the price, making it one of the best deals we’ve found in the Keys. One of the biggest advantages is being on the bay side rather than the Atlantic side. During our stay, there was no sargassum seaweed to deal with, which made enjoying the shoreline and water much more pleasant. The bayfront setting was clean, scenic, and perfect for relaxing.

The Pelican exceeded my expectations. It was quiet and beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds and pillows were super comfy!!! We were able to swim with a stingray and starfish, nursing shark and saw a dolphin just by the dock. All very exciting Highly recommend this place!!
