Although this is an older property, undergoing some exterior renovation, the beachfront location is perfect and the sunset views are incredible. The staff were extremely helpful, especially Erta, in Reception, and Nicole, Tiki Bar Manager. Breakfast was surprisingly good and, overall, we enjoyed our stay.

I had a wonderful 7 day stay. The staff was outstanding. The breakfast buffet was good. The workers were prompt in maintaining the breakfast bar and quick to clean off a table. My room was clean and comfortable. The beach area could have used more sand because it had ruts in it from water flow, but there was ample seating. The pool area was nice. Lounge chairs, tables and chairs in good condition. Very nice outside tiki bar with plenty of seating as well. The sunsets from the beach area were amazing! If I ever travel back to Key Largo, I will stay here again.

The staff were wonderful, especially Jolene. The first impression is this hotel needs some TLC. The hotel is going through a renovation, which will be great, but it has so much character now. I ended up loving this quirky hotel. We stayed twice - first we had a room not renovated and second a room that was renovated. The little beach is nice - some people there saw Manatees, but we weren't so lucky. The landscaping in the courtyard is very nice and we were greeted with Iguanas and Ibis, which was fun. The pool looked very inviting and many guests were using it. I'd love to have an opportunity to come back to this hotel.

The Hampton Inn had a lot to offer their guests like kayak rentals, can go fishing from their dock. The pool is nice as well. The Tiki Bar theme was great, had a chance to meet other guests staying there while enjoying some drinks. Even though the hotel is undergoing some renovations the staff made sure the guests are taken care of and willing to help if a need arises. It is a hidden gem you should give it a try and stay for a bit. The breakfast every morning was very good, the staff in charge of setting it up, getting it all prepared does a very great job!
