What a lovely place to stay. We enjoy travelling, so we decided to stay at the top of the Florida Keys and would drive down to Key West if we wanted to go that far. We did! It took around 2 hours 30 minutes from this hotel to near the centre of Key West. It took around 25 minutes to Islamorada and around 1 hour to Marathon. The options for breakfast were lovely. The outside area was beautiful and there was a VERY clear view of the gorgeous sunsets. Our room was freshly decorated and updated. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

It would be nice if the resort had a little bit more island-feeling interior decoration. It still feels like a regular hotel, in a sense. Very clean, helpful staff. Make sure to bring bug spray in the evening's when the sun starts to go down, while laying out on the beach.

It is an old hotel but has the charm expected of the area. Room was very spacious and had all that was needed including nice little sun area on ground floor. Hotel has nice touch of little beach and tiki hut which is a nice addition if looking for a lazy beach day or pool is also lovely and of nice size. Fitness suite has all basic equipment needed, and breakfast was good with your typical choices. Overall it’s located well and doesn’t have that isolated feel you may get with others.
