Terrible Experience – Would Not Recommend My initial impression was awful. Upon arrival, the front desk lady went over a long list of strict rules, all of which had to be cleared by the owners first. I was shocked to find out that guests are not allowed at all. No pets are permitted either—yet the owner lives on-site with two huge dogs freely roaming the property. There are no lights near the dock or beach at night, which feels unwelcoming and even unsafe. The whole atmosphere is more like a retirement community where you’re expected to wind down by 9 PM. They also refused a late check-out and wouldn’t even allow us to stay on the premises after checking out. This was hands-down the worst experience I’ve had at a vacation rental. I absolutely do not recommend it and will never return.

Went to Key Largo for quick overnight escape. Was originally booked at a different hotel which cancelled on us, leaving us stranded. Found Coconut Bay and was so happy with this little resort! Absolutely stunning grounds, extremely friendly and helpful staff, super clean, and nice amenities! Will definitely be returning and already booked our next stay!!!

This is a beautiful gem in key largo! Beautiful grounds and clean cottages! All the staff was friendly! They offer kayaks and sups as well as board games in the office. The pool was clean and cool for a refreshing change from the sea. We spent an entire day just enjoying the beach area and the pool it was amazing! Also Peg’s scones are delicious! Very happy with our stay!!

WOW, this stay was AMAZING! The resort is quaint and quiet. Very well maintained with nice furnishings. Room was very clean. Every room had outside sitting areas. Waterfront beach area is the perfect place to watch the sunset and look up at the stars and listen to the water. Absolutely beautiful!

First and most important, free scones! And definitely the best ones I've ever had. The staff are uber friendly and accommodating. The property is smaller, but thats what we wanted. Its great for families, but also great if you just want a nice quiet place. They offered free kayaks and paddle boards. Definitely will stay here in the future.

The facility was tucked away in a beautifully landscaped area with native plants, shrubs, trees, flowers. It wasn’t very visible from the road. The cabin we had was completely remodeled and very comfortable. The hosts were very helpful, engaging and genuine. It was a little gem hidden away for those who prefer a quiet serene experience from the traditional large hotels.

All staff was amazing, we were late checking in and Jonathan was so helpful. Peg's scones are to die for and the property is immaculate. The little cottages/rooms are so charming and well decorated. Love the ceiling fan and air conditioner especially since we were there in July. We got to meet Peg (the owner) and found her to be a gracious host. We cant wait to come back to stay longer.
